Today's my 18th birthday, yay! I can do anything I want but unfortunately if i ever commit a crime I hafta face charges, boo! (Not that I'm going to anyway :-p)...Even so, didnt really do much, went on with college as usual. I got a handmade card and matching bracelet and necklace from mah dear college chums. After class me and my parents went to the music shop to look for a clavinova. We bought a small one for our lil apartment. The new one isnt as good as the one I have back home (mine's antique but priceless xD) but it's good enough, tomorrow only arriving. After that we came home and rest for awhile. Then we went to Flower Drum in Chinatown for dinner, was nice. Then home again for cake, parents got me a flourless, dark chocolate cake, yum! Unfortunately they didnt give us candles nor a knife, sweet..Well doesn't matter as long as I still get to eat it after, lol! Gave some to my neighbour 'cause too much. Omg, there's so much work to complete but I don't wanna do any work on my birthday >.<...Sigh, I wish I could celebrate with my friends and family back home, doesn't feel the same here..Owh, well at least i'm coming home in a months time, yay! xD

Hmm..had college today as usual but last working day of the week, lol..My sculpture made it into the display section, so happy! hehe..Went to Flagstaff garden this morning for Principle & Elements class..We had to create an art piece inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. Who's he?? He's an environmental scuptor and he creates pieces entirely from nature such as rock balancing, ice fragments, etc..should check our his work, damn nice and smart. Because it's the environment, hi work doesn't last long, most of the time only a few minutes as the materials will deteriorate. As he said, "process and decay are implicit"..So yea my group was split into two teams and we had to decorate a tree by creating a contrast using leaves of different colour (Yellow, yellow-brown, green & reddish-brown). Since we're only allowed to use natural stuff we had to use water in place of glue. To make things harder, it was windy >.<. We appointed people to stand around the tree and be wind blockers, lol..At last we managed to finish (see pic below). NIkita baked muffins so we ate there and then , was nice hehe..Then normal la, had unch then English class (I owned again xD)..After class, Pear, Tonia and I went to watch Made of Honour at Melbourne Central. Not bad, romantic and funny, just how I like it. It's like the reverse of My Best Friend's Wedding but only better :-)..After the movie I followed my friend to Safeway to buy groceries then I tapau-ed MacDonalds (Lean Aussie Beef Burger, yummy), come home, eat an finished watching Princess Hours :-P..Tomorrow I gotta get started on some work before my relatives come :-S..Sigh..Not to mention clean house -_-

Even though it was labour day but we don't get a day off :-(..That' cuz Melbourne labour day was in April..Anyway i had college as usual, principle & element and english class. Finally, my teacher liked my sculpture, now I can create the final, yay!...Anyway we had a light lunch (me salad) 'cause we're gonna have an early dinner. Then went to Officeworks to buy catridge paper to make my sculpture. After we went to RMIT library on swanston for our english class..Got there early so we checked out some design books while waiting :-)..Well even though English's usually boring but we this Gary guy came in and gave us tips on how to advanced search on Google so twas not bad (If I remember I will post the notes next time for you guys :D)
..After class we stayed in the library for like an hour because it was too cold to go outside (raining too, brrr...) >.<...It was like, raining whole day and some of us didn't bring umbrella so yea..xD. Pear gave her brolly to Jacques and she took mine :-p..Me and Hun were 'sheltered' by our hoodies and Join, her cap, lol..Luckily not too far or else we'd get pneumonia, haha! Ate at Han Gook Guan (Korean restaurant) which was nearby my place. It felt REALLY good when we got inside the restaurant..but they served us cold water, wth?? LOL...My korean friend Hun here did the translating and ordering, dunno what they were talking about..We wanted something to warm up so we ordered a bottle of so jou (korean sake) but only Hun, Jacques and me drank 'cause the others can't drink :-p..So I took one sip and...I realised I prefer wine xD xD It was sweet at first but then it had that strong liquor taste which tasted like pure ethanol >.< (Note: 16 % alcohol)..I took one cup kong already and Jacques had two..Hun did the honours, lol..After dinner we felt really warm and cozy but when we went out it was freezing again xD
And guess what?? We had ice-cream even though it was so bloody cold!! :D..I highly recommend you to try Freddos, they even got durian ice-cream which I found out the guys hate it. He took like one bite and had to eat alot of ice-cream to get rid of the taste, lol..I had Roche and Toblerone ice-cream which was a too sweet combination >.<..
We stayed at that place for almost two hours chatting until my friend wanted to catch her train..Got home at around 9.30pm..Nothing much after that, just ichatted with my dad, then surfed, then this..Now no more, wanna sleep soon so bon nuit, hehehe...

Typical Day

Today was a normal day with a temperature of 6-16 degrees..Coldest day of the year because it was also windy. I went to college as usual, had new media and design communication class. In new media, Sergio taught us how to use Adobe InDesign which is where we make flyers, newsletters and such. We also had to do research on print history as it might come out for our exam :-S..After class we battled the cold winds to the next building (Bld 87). Most of us brought our food but and there was a 'food queue' to use the microwave in the mini kitchen, lol..My classmates and I multitask so we heated like 3 types of food at one time and the rotation plate was slow 'cause too heavy xD..I ate leftover curry chicken (which was like damn alot 0.o) with bread then mingled with the other group people for awhile before my teacher came. Continued with our symbol design..At 4.35 I adjourned home, rest awhile, bathe, eat, make sculpture (while watching Indiana Jones xD), and now this, lol..Nothing much actually, just a typical day in my typical life, hahaha....

Hmmm..nothing much happened today..This morning I went with my mom to Harvey Norman to exchange some wheels (for the heater). Then we went to Target to stock up on winter stuff (hibernation period xD), lol..Come back, clean house then I finished up my final logo, so frustrating trying to cut to precision >.<..At 3.30pm I walked to federation square to see the jazz festival with two of my friends..Unfortunately I got the date wrong 'cause when we reached, there was a rapping/hip hop showcase going on instead, lol..Then my friend asked the information guy and he said we got the date wrong (or rather I did, sorry guys!! >.<)..We walked all the way there for nothing, haha..Kinda awkward when we found out, end up we decided to just go home...Then I continued my assignment, cooked dinner, chatted with relatives, print out my research and stuff..Now chatting and doing this :-P

Adventura

Today I went to college, had principles & element and english class. During lunch break some friends and I decided to eat at my friend's apartment 'cause after classes we're going IKEA. As art students, we carry at least 2 bags so we wanted to drop our sacks in her apartment. Since my apartment was nearer I told them I would put my stuff back first and meet them at the tram stop (they went and tapau food)...So I put my stuff, went toilet and received an sms to meet in front of QV..I went there but didn't see them so called. Twas actually the tram stop in swanston and it was arriving soon. So i ran one BIG round around QV and kinda lost my way. So i retraced my steps and by the time i reached the station my friends had already boarded the tram...Sigh, it sucks when you missed your tram just barely..No choicelorr, took the next one and met them at South Melbourne..BEcause we had like 1.3 hr break, we wasted like 40 mins so we ate at record speed and rushed for the next tram (cuz we were late)..Damn right, after all that trouble we only spent like 20 mins at her place..We were late for english class by 15 mins but luckily the teacher just started so okla, haha..We learned the harvard system of citing 0_o..As usual we finished class early so we went to the library first 'cause my friend wanted to print something..After that we took the tram at Collins St (quite a walk :-S) to IKEA..My friend wanted to buy some furniture so I just went to help..Actually i was tired and had a lil headache after class and wanted to go home..But since my mom won't be in I might as well have dinner with my friends..We ate at the food court and then took the tram home, waited almost 30mins for the tram and it was quite cold >.<...Comme si comme sa, came home at like 9 something, bathe, surf, watch tv, play PSP..lol..I'm going to the vineyard tomorrow, yay! Owh yea, it's Anzac day tomorrow too so holiday, yay again! (Not really cuz I don't hav classes on fridays :-P)..Anyways I wanna sleep now so night night!

Ha.Ha.Ha...

Sigh, been busy since yesterday trying to come up with more prototypes for my coil sculpture. At least some of them turned out well, now all I have to do is create my final sculpture with my chosen prototype.

Today I had principles & elements and English class. We got back our results for the postcard assignment. I didn't do so well 'cause I got the concept wrong *sobs*...Got like 3.4/5..>.<..Luckily it's only 5% of my course ( i hate principles & elements). Wanna trash my postcards but still gotta use them again in June. Bloody little things -.-...Spent like the whole morning going through our prototypes and creating new ones. Actually we kinda spent the whole morning 'wasting trees', lol...After class we tapau-ed lunch and ate at English class 'cause it was a short break. THen I went to go meet my di di to get back my hard disk. First time ler I went down and waited but it was cold so I went back to class again. Awhile later I went back down again to see if he's there yet (I wore my jacket this time :D)..Then finally came and all lar..English was boring as usual, talked about our group research project. Our teacher groups us according to our ambitions and I got stuck into the fashion design group even though I'm gonna do textiles (cuz i'm the only one doing that, lol). Unfortunately there was a big fashion group so had to split into two. We had to haggle over which topic to research on 'cause we can't do the same topic. End up my group has to research on 1970's fashion -_-..Not that's boring (well a lil) but I'm not a big fan of 70s fashion, lol. The other group got the nicer topic, damn..

Haiz..what to do?? It's a big chunk of my course and it's gonna be like a thesis in the end, haha...So tired, tomorrow another busy day, deadlines for two projects ((@~@))
